Have you heard of the Valeo Innovation Challenge? It’s our international contest that gives the opportunity to students around the world to become players in the automotive innovation.
The Challenge rewards passion, creativity and ambition in one of the three areas revolutionizing the automotive industry today:

Now in its fifth edition, our challenge is kicking into high gear with an important evolution: Stimulate entrepreneurial initiatives by helping students create a start-up.
So, how does it work? Gather your teammates—including a teacher if you wish—and sign up for Valeo’s annual open innovation contest for students from all disciplines, around the world. Since 2013, teams have submitted incredible ideas to improve safety, environmental sustainability and intuitive driving in cars.
Once your team is formed, brainstorm about your vision for the car of the future. Then, it’ll be time to turn that vision into a reality. All ideas are welcome – big and small. It’s time for you to be in the driver’s seat of the car of the future.
The 9 finalist teams will have 8 weeks to accelerate their project with the help of Valeo and external experts recognized for their experience and professional expertise, like scientists, designers, sociologists, and architects. They will then be flown to Paris, France, for the official awards ceremony in October 2018. At the end of the competition the sum of €200,000 will be shared between the three winning teams of the Challenge. In addition to
their prize, they will be offered the opportunity to join Valeo’s business accelerator .
